I am testing 18.04. I go to put the Firefox icon on the desktop and it is about double the size it should be. Plus, you can’t resize it. Never had this problem in the past 12 years with UM or any Ubuntu derivatives. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.
It’s been noted/discussed before, and there’s a bug report. (You can mark yourself as affected.)
The bug report’s last comment says it’s fixed for the desktop but not in the Preferred Applications. I just tried a 18.04 live USB, and the issue is there, but then I updated Firefox with
sudo apt update
sudo apt install firefox
and after the update, the desktop icon is the correct size.
