Increase size of icons on the MATE desktop

Hi,

Can anyone help me find out how to increase the size of the icons on the MATE desktop.
I can't find a setting for this anywhere.

My partner has poor eyesight and really misses the 1366 laptop screen resolutions.
Her new laptop is a 1920x1080 and she's struggling with the scaling across the entire OS.

Hi @wayne_tbt,

Take a look at Caja's preferences. The Icon View Default Zoom can be set up to 400% in 20.04.

This will affect all icons which doesn't sound like a problem for your partner. I see no way to only set desktop icons.

If you right click each icon on your desktop, it will let you resize the icon.
