Install Ubuntu Mate for a Newuser (someone else)

I want to install Mate on an OLD Laptop for someone else. I want them to set up the User account not me. How is this done? Their was an option about install like a manufacturer of something to that effect. Am I right.
Wimpy, I hope you read this. Donated many time to this project. Got it on two laptops.

Hello Jimmy43

You might find this video by Joe Collins usefull, he talks you through the whole process - but for Linux Mint. However, as Linux Mint is based on Ubuntu, and Ubuntu-Mate is based on Ubuntu much of the process should be similar.

Thanks I did see the video. I installed Mate one Old Acer. It was easy per video after video. I then installed Mint on old Dell laptop.
Much easier than after the video. Thanks to you and the community for the help
