Installer - LVM and seperate home installation

I don't know if ubuntu-mate is the right place, but i try it here.
It's a pitty, that i don't create a LVM partition manuelly at the Installation.
It would be great if i could create a seperated /home Directory.

Agree with you. If we select LVM option from automated installation, installer only creates root and swap logical volumes, but if we select manual partition there is no option for lvm. It is an issue with ubiquity and as such even LinuxMint has same drawback.

Reported a Bug despite it isn't a real bug...

The default automated installation scheme is similar to that of Windows (with only C:\ drive created). I detest that and always create a separate D:\ drive (in Windows) or /home partition (in Linux).
