Intel Rapid Storage Technology Ubuntu Mate 20.04

I am currently running Ubuntu Mate 18.04 with intel rapid storage technology and it works fine. When I try to install 20.04, i get an error saying in need to disable intel rapid storage technology in order to complete the installation. Any ideas as to how i can work around this problem?

Hi msmed50,

if you mean Optane, go into BIOS/UEFI and look for the disable Optane feature. Be careful if updating BIOS as I had problems helping a friend recently and after the BIOS update, this feature was missing!.
