Is it possible to display the date on the notification bar on 19.10

Hi,

I have recently upgraded to Ubuntu MATE 19.10 and noticed that I cannot display the date on the notification bar any longer. I am running Ubuntu MATE 19.10 on a Lenovo T410.

Is there some setting that I am missing here?, I really miss not having the date in the notification bar.

Check this: Date in indicator applet

  • if dconf-editor is not installed, install it using the Welcome app -> Software
  • open dconf
  • navigate to com / canonical / indicator / datetime / show-date
  • enable show-date
