Hello,
I have newly installed ubuntu MATE, and installed kdrive.appimage like I used to on Kubuntu, but once installed, and programed, I cannot open the windows once it's lunched. The icon appears in the notification area, but when I click on it, the windows does not open.
Can somebody help me ?
Hi, @GermaindAuxerre and welcome to the Ubuntu MATE Community!
From the site 🚀 Install kDrive on Linux - Infomaniak :
Since version 23.04 (and later) of Ubuntu, after double-clicking on the AppImage file, nothing will happen. The latest versions of Ubuntu use a recent "too" version of FUSE (the "Filesystem in User Space" interface on which AppImages rely to work) for which AppImages are not designed. The AppImages need FUSE v2 to work:
sudo apt install libfuse2
Thank you, but my problem comes after that.
Like you can see on the screenshot I've put, it's when I click on the Kdrvie icon in the notification area, instead of opening an info windows, there's just a small horizontal wight rectangle.
At start of Kdrive, Ubuntu ask for the password of the keyring. If you're disabled it, prompt don't display. If you canceled the prompt of keyring, and cancel of signing of Kdrive, then we see the same issue as you. Also, Kdrive add its link in the startup apps of Ubuntu. Which is unexpected.
I've put back the password of the keyring, restart, but it didn't changed anything.
