Kensington Orbit Trackball

Would anyone know if it's possible to get a Kensington Orbit Trackball to work on Ubuntu.
I've plugged it in and it does nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Complete Linux noob.

Hi John,

do you have legacy USB switched on in BIOS/UEFI?. I have no idea whether it will work on Ubuntu, all the stuff on the web is kinda old!. :grinning:

I think @wolfman is on the right lines with checking whether USB is switched off. As it happens, I am using a Kensington Orbit Trackball. I just plugged it in and it worked straight away.

Thank you both.
I opened the Setup to enable USB Legacy Device, it was already enabled. So, I changed nothing and the Trackball decided to Work from there. So thanks very much.
