Kernel panic - not syncing attempted to kill init exit code=0x00000000b

Hi,
I have installed more then one sd cards with the image. I get this message on booting: kernel panic - not syncing attempted to kill init exit code=0x00000000b

The device is Raspberry 2B+

What can I do? Is the B+ supported?

Greetings Mike

Hello,

I have the same problem. I tried several SD card (SD and Micro SD), several img (several download), and the problem still present.

My Raspberry and my SD card work with raspbian and OpenElec.

But i want Ubuntu mate

Any idea ?

Best regards,

Florent.

Same here. I tried three Rasp Pi 2’s, flashed the SD a few times. FAT32, Class 6 MicroSDHC.
Looks exactly like @Daltoo’s screen. Would really like to use MATE.

I’m trying to use the latest 15.10.3

Also - to report how I loaded the image.

Downloaded 15.10.3 on my Windows 10 PC. Unzipped with 7zip. Used Win32DiskImager to copy the IMG file to the SD card. Properly remove the SD card. Insert into RPi2, end up with the exact image in Daltoo’s post above.

Ok I’m a fool. I was look at my RPi’s and realized all three of them are Raspberry Pi B+ – and not RPi2.
Crisis averted. Sorry for the trouble.
