I tried mate on rpi3 a year or more ago and kodi did not work.
Is kodi supported rpi 3 ubuntu mate?

I have. Kodi works and shut down properly with debian pixel gui and it uses hardware video.
I loaded mate to rpi 3 but no video at all. My error probably.
I hadto use Firefox as it didn’t like Cromium.
