This Caja extension doesn't work for me in 20.04. Formerly I could right click a file with a .pgp extension and a decrypt option was available. I purged the extension and reinstalled it to be sure it was there.
If I do
$ mate-seahorse-tool -d <filename>
I see the the windows I expect and can decrypt the file.
Any idea why I have to go to the command line for this now?
Any ideas anyone?
Did you have libcaja-seahorse enabled in the caja-file-management-properties
, on Extensions tab?
Do you have Encrypt and Sign options in the menu?
I have never used it before, but I can open the Encrypted file by double clicking on it (or right click, Open → Open With Decrypt File) and then it asked password for decryption.
Is it what you need?

Yes, both before and after reinstall of the extension.

Yes, but not if the file's extension is .pgp . The decrypt option never shows up in the menu, no matter what the extension.
To solve the problem I needed to install the caja-actions package. Now the option to decrypt comes up in the right-click menu as "Caja-Actions actions" . I believe the decrypt and encrypt actions appear by default in the submenu . No need to create them.
