Whenever I would try to open or create a new LibreOffice Write doc, or Calc spreadsheet, I was being warned about need to change advanced settings to point to right Java environment, but the option setting would indicate that JRE is selected. Eventually, noticed a messaging saying this the solution might be to install libreoffice-java-common package. If this package is so important, wouldn't the right thing be for it to be installed through software boutique itself ? Also, LibreOffice seems to otherwise work fine even without installation of that package -- just that the warning is a botheration. Is that how it is supposed to be ?
Hi,
question could be if libre-java-common is same as Java. Alert could refer to it. Update it?
cheers
