Hi, I have been using Ubuntu mate for quite a while now, I think it is a really nice polished distro.
So I thought I would give the development edition a try, 17.10, since it has the new better global menu. Now I have an issue, that is the toolsbars in Libreoffice only displays text, even though I have selected "Icons" in the custumize screen. Can anyone help me get it to be normal, with icons?

it might be a bug with the customization switches (Mate Tweak -> Interface -> Toolbar), see my bug report at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/1714799

The same thing happened to me recently. Try this…
In LibreOffice go to Tools > Customise > Toolbars > Style
Set “Style” to “icons”

It´s probably a bug, my the settings that @alpinejohn suggested is already set to "icons".
