Live USB with casper-rw partition

I have tried to create an live USB installation that has the casper-rw partition instead of the carper-rw file which is limited to only 4GB. A casper-rw partition is pretty much limited to the size of your USB drive. I have tried to follow a couple tutorials where you delete the casper-rw file and it should default to the casper-rw partition; however, I cannot get this to work. Is this something that does not work in newer Ubuntu released? Thanks!

Edit: I have used and not had success using startup disk creator (Ubuntu) and Unetbootin.

What creator tool are you using?

Both startup disk creator and unetbootin

Try this for Linux and fully format your USB stick to FAT32 first!:

There is also “Mintstick”!.
