I’m running Ubuntu MATE 16.04. If anyone is wondering about their Logitech wireless devices, I had no problem when I switched mine from the hated Win10 to UbuntuMATE. I installed Solaar to handle the Unify software and when I plugged in the USB receiver, it was still set for all the same devices.
So, if you are switching from another OS, your Logitech devices will switch over with no problem. If there is any you want to add, then Solaar will handle it.
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install solaar
The app will show up under the Accessories in the Applications menu.
UbuntuMATE has made this an easy switch for me to get rid of Windows forever.
