Looking for opinions - platform for migrating from Windows

While trying to look at a "simple" component-based configuration for a new computer for my wife, I came across the below "mini-pc". Anyone have opinions on the Brand's or the model's reputation? Also, comments on noise level?

I do not now the brand or the model but I see it has a N150 processor that is a bit faster than the N6000 in my work- laptop ( which is faster than the N4205 in my mediacenter). It is also faster than your PC (ASUS M4A78-E as far as I know, right?).

I do not know how workable it is in MS-windows but with ubuntu MATE it is more than fast enough for day to day jobs (I even do some video-editing with it).

The noise level is said to be 33-36 dB which is not really loud but can get on your nerves easily in a silent room.

Mini pcs seem to be the flavor of the day and everything I have read mentions this one as a really good option for dual boot. Lot’s of videos out there talking about it. Seems like you can’t go wrong with it. I mean, it’s less than $350! That’s amazing.

Looks like I didn't move fast enough, because they no longer offer that product on their web site.
