Mate 16.04 hidden keyboard shortcuts

I am having a hard time figuring out how to make Ctrl+Alt+T open Terminator instead of Mate-Terminal.
I have set Terminator to be the default terminal (is the one opened when i right click then click on open in terminal) but it didn’t help.
I checked the Keyboard shortcuts, nothing concerning terminals is defined there, and tried defining Ctrl+Alt+T as shortcut to open Terminator, it seems to be overridden by something else somewhere and Mate-Terminal is still opened.
I even gave up and tried to set Super+T for Terminator but the Super button opens the Menu when clicked and no Terminator is opened.
I also checked my Compiz Commands section, no shortcuts defined there.

Can somebody please lead me to the place where such shortcuts are defined? I want to get rid of them and they are definitely not defined among Keyboard Shortcuts.

It was the MATE-compatibility plugin from Compiz that was causing this problem. The key binding for the terminal was defined there.
