Hello everyone;
I am running Ubuntu Mate for RPi2. I have not changed the OS much, or installed anything aside from a few games.
I am running a Class 10 SD ( Samsung Evo). I have updated the system, and i have not modified the hardware configs( no oc, etc)
(Problem)
All games downloaded from the Software Center are extremely laggy. Even games i know should run fine! i have tried a few games for the Pi through other OSs(jessie) and they ran perfectly fine, i switched to Ubuntu Mate, and re-downloaded those games through the Software Center( not through console) and they will run only run at 1 FPS a second or less.
(Question)
- Is there a way to fix this?
- Is this a know issue? or am i alone on this?
- Is the software listed in the Software Center optimized for the PI?
or Complied for the PI? or is it emulted and forced to run on the
pi?
( Extra info i felt like talking about, not related to the problem) 
I love the this OS! I especially love the “work-space” . I have a workplace dedicated to school work and another to general desktop use. it helps when i have like 10++ tabs open, 5 distraction pages and 5 school work related pages. Surprisingly enough, the Raspberry Pi 2 handles a lot of tabs and applications open! ( Libre office apps, Firefox, music player, YouTube,) I am really happy with he PI and Ubuntu OS. I am having problems with YouTube and full screen, but that is a battle for a different day…
