Mate installer is almost very good

nice installer, here is my feedback:
· it crash if a setted partition is monted (may be unmounting those on last confirmation)
· it's missing the raid "partitions"
· it'll be nice if partition labels are visible in the table or the menu

Welcome @DFOXpro to the community!

Welcome, @DFOXpro. Is this your first install or are you installing an upgrade? I'm not clear on your first item,

it crash if a setted partition is monted (may be unmounting those on last confirmation)

What is your hardware configuration? It reads as if you were doing a fresh install on a variety of disks, correct? Can you tell us what you did to get it working?

The ubuntu-desktop-installer is created by Ubuntu, and used by many flavors. It was first officially used for Ubuntu Desktop 23.04, having been default since then. The first flavor used it at 23.10, with Ubuntu MATE switching to it at Ubuntu MATE 24.04 LTS (all but three flavors now use it).

Feedback has been requested a number of times, one example being here, but to get changes made, it maybe best filing them with Ubuntu, especially if the issues are also apparent when installing Ubuntu Desktop.

Bugs maybe best filed at Bugs : ubuntu-desktop-provision

I'm using ubuntu mate since IDK.. 18.04 or early, but now I tryed a "fresh install" (I have already an home and opt partitions).

I have a trivial mirror raid, but I just found out ubuntu does not have mdadm by default so I ended (painfully)manually setting this raid
