Whenever I try to boot into my PC, all I get is a blank dark green screen which doesn't change to anything. I have to forcefully switch off and restart the PC 4-5 times before the OS gets loaded. What should I do?

I would do an upgrade to 20.04, if you have a root and home partitions, you can keep all your data intact by following the guide below.
