This is a quick demonstration of the upcoming changes to MATE Tweak in Ubuntu MATE 15.04. MATE Tweak can now switch between several different user interface layouts and adapt to the software you have installed.
This should make it much easier for end-users to discover a desktop interface that suits them and that they can build on.
Awesome! I’m sure this will be a nice thing to show some of the people that get converted from Windows. Can the function be added to save an interface config that could be shared? I could picture MATE-look.org with an “Interfaces” option along the left menu.

I have got a rudimentary panel dumper. Not sure if I have the time to integrate it for 15.04. But it is planned.

This just adds to the many reasons why one should choose Ubuntu MATE over other distros. Users migrating from Windows, OS X and even Mint will feel right at home…
