I am running MATE 1.26.0 on Ubuntu 20.04.4. I am using the Mateweather-applet with a local radar on the display. I notice that the longer the app runs, the more memory it uses. After several days in is the biggest user of memory of all the processes running using over 300 MiB. I just restarted the app and it is currently using 20.0MiB but it will grow. I have turned off the radar but this has no effect. Has anyone else noticed this and is there a solution to keep memory down? I noticed memory use increases with each update.
