I’ve decided to start recording instructional videos for my mom with Kazam; however, the microphone doesn’t work. When I go in Kazam’s preferences, it says microphone unknown. Besides Kazam, audio doesn’t play Ambient Noise. Audio works fine with Firefox, Chrome, and VLC player. I have installed the Processor Microcode firmware for Intel CPUs from intel-microcode. I’ve been thinking maybe installing the firmware package will solve the problem?
