Maybe some delay would work here, try adding 5 seconds.

Panel not showing up after boot

Ok, try adding some delay to the startup. Add a line to the autostart file: X-MATE-Autostart-Delay=15 [image] Thats 15 seconds of delay, probably too much, just a guess.
