Mint-tools en ubuntu mate

Intente sin exito agregar los repositorios para mint-tools en ubuntu-mate, me da error a la hora de actualizar, saben de alguna posible solcución ?

Para poder ayudarle adecuadamente, necesitamos dos cosas:

  • un listado del registro de errores durante la instalación, y

  • un informe de su configuración de software/hardware proporcionado por inxi -F -xxx

Mint-tools se crearon específicamente para funcionar con Linux Mint MATE, que, aunque originalmente se creó a partir de Ubuntu, ahora lo ignora y se crea directamente a partir de las bibliotecas originales de Debian. Debido a este último paso evolutivo, ya no hay garantía de que ningún componente de Linux Mint MATE funcione en UbuntuMATE, razón por la cual la instalación falló.

A continuación, he intentado ofrecerle una lista de las aplicaciones que forman parte de la suite UbuntuMATE y que son equivalentes a las que ofrecen las herramientas Mint, cuando estén disponibles.

Otros miembros de la comunidad podrían recomendar otras herramientas que podrían ser sustitutos directos (¿mejores?) de las que busca en la suite Mint.

Mint tools was built specifically to work with Linux Mint MATE which, while originally built from Ubuntu, has now bypassed Ubuntu and is built directly from upstream Debian libraries. Because of this last evolutionary step, there is no longer any guarantee that anything on Linux Mint MATE could work on UbuntuMATE ... which is why the install failed.

Below, I tried to give you a list of the applications which are part of the UbuntuMATE suite which are equivalents to those offered by Mint tools, where such are available.

Other members of the Community may recommend other tools that may be direct (better?) substitutes for the ones from the Mint tools suite that you are looking for.

So, here is my attempt to offer the substitutes that would encourage you to continue with your attempt to consider adopting UbuntuMATE as you preferred DM.
