Missing Mega-Icon

Dear community
As cloud service copy seems to quit their services i changed to mega and installed MEGAsync for Ubuntu according to the instructions on webupd8.org.
Well, this worked like charm except for, after restarting the machine, the sync-indicator went missing. MEGAsync is installed in the startup applications. I tried to start it by clicking the icon and by terminal - both without a result and without an error. Sync seems to work though, I managed to sync files from one computer to another. But I’d like to know if there’s still a synchronisation running - which I’can’t see without the indicator.

An ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Is your panel the indicator layout or non-indicator (system tray) layout?

You can find out and toggle the setting in MATE Tweak, note that this will destroy any customisations to the panels!

Hello lah7
The indicators are enabled. This was the advice I got when the “copy” icon was replaced by a red cross in the indicators.
