Thanks to the always so great Linux-Magazine, I have just discovered the system panel application Mission Center.
Not only does this project looks visually appealing, am also certain it could help even more folks kicking away their shyness when committing to UM as it would bring 1 (much fresh/needed) much layer of complexity.

To share my thoughts on this matter, I similarly like Mission Center. This is currently available as a Snap package, and building seems pretty simple. However, I prefer using mate-system-monitor
that comes with MATE or Ubuntu MATE by default, which I think covers similar functionalities that MC provides.

In my opinion, the current monitor has an old design style. I like the design of mission center because we can access quickly to main functions to monitor. I replaced system monitor by mission center.

I missed this initial post.Up to this point I'd been using hardinfo
and more recently hardinfo2
as my default system monitor.I will have to check out mission center
