Multiple recently files

Hi community.

i have seen a weird behavior in my mate install: there be multiple recently files on my system. The normal is to be a only one file recently-used.xbel. The path of this file is: '~/.local/share'. Its function is create a list of recent documents, well i don't bother this file, but i've observed there be a multiple 'recently-used'.

What is the reason of this behavior?

You got me curious as I’m looking at my May2016 install of Ubuntu-MATE 16.04. I have 25 old versions with those 6-characters added modified back to that time. I can tell by their atime they last were accessed only by my 2AM backups.

I’d guess they’re leftover baggage. Any MATE developers around?

Looks like a GTK bug or something, search on the web i found that it is a behavior very old.

Until now i found a different solutions but all those solutions disable the option of storage recent documents, a option that sometimes results useful.
