Mutiny offers really nice features but currently has some side effects:
-when this layout is active and you install the workspace switcher on the upper panel it is shown way to small on the upper panel (after logging out and in again to the desktop the workspace switcher gets a normal size)
-changing the properties of the unity like left panel (size) and switch expand on/off can lead to an unusable left panel which can’t be restored to normal size

Yes I am using Ubuntu Mate 16.04 Beta upgraded to latest dev. packages and compiz.
Mutiny works good most of the time !
Don’t forget that UM 16.04 is still in the dev stage and not everything will work as expected!. 
Yes, I know - now is just the right time to find bugs and report strange things.If you wait with your bug reports until this version is officially released no one will resolve the issues.
