Like the title mentions it : "My splash screen is suddenly low resolution and all ugly !"
I'd say like 600x800 or even less.
Can't recall what I've just done right before
I think I had only updated my NVIDIA GTX 1070 graphic card drivers through 'Add Drivers'
How can I change my splash screen back to what it used to be ?
can you revert back to the nouveau driver, reboot, if all goes well, then reapply the nvidia driver.
Just a thought.
I just did apply back again the Nouveau drivers and my splash screen is displayed fine like before but now I have the same issue I had with it, I mean that with the Nouveau drivers sleep mode and standby mode do not work… No way to let my PC hibernate…
The NVIDIA proprietary has long known to do this, there is a solution though:
