I don't know much about BT, but I may be able to help you with the instructions you posted.

After you open the panel menu by pressing the Super key, and after you type "blue" into the search box, you should see results something like this:

The item to click on is "Bluetooth Manager." When you do that, this dialog should launch:

And that is the "Search" button the instructions are asking you to click.

No, it looks like you have intentionally disabled Bluetooth on your system.

I am going to do an "experiment."

Shut down my computer and remove the Bluetooth dongle and then see what happens.

sudo systemctl disable --now bluetooth

It worked perfect.

I recommend you revisiting your own Bluetooth-related topics on this forum. You have already created a lot of them. And community members have already contributed a lot to the answers.

By the way, what was your motivation to create a second account (@handyguy) for this forum? This situation is quite confusing.

This forum also has a search function with filters. Click the in the top right, look to the bottom of the drop-down and click More..., and from there you can access Advanced Filters to narrow down your search.
