I hope this is the right Category for my topic.
Little Story:
A few days before i made a decision, i´ll safe my privacy and set a statement.
So i watched a few videos about privacy and made a few changes. One of this changes is not so easy for me.
My skills with linux are okay but i have no clue about network configurations in linux.
I installed Ubuntu Mate in Oracle VM, made a few changes in Settings and now i have a bridged network.
Set the IPv4 in my router for the vm and changed my physical DNS to the VM ip.
Everything is working, but now i have no connection anymore to my fritz.box.
But internet is working, now i installed Pi.Hole, installation was very easy.
But something went wrong, there is no connection possible to pi.hole/admin.
“Connection Timeout”
Someone will ask “Why is he using a vm, why is he not using a Rasperry Pi?”
Easy answer: “It´s only one pc in my network, so a vm should be enough i think.”
Hope someone has a few anwers for my problem.
