So I’ve downloaded a couple icon packs and extracted them the .icons folder. Trouble is when I go to the edit one of my themes to use the new icons they are not listed.
Have I done this wrong?
Sometimes, when an icon pack is extracted, they are still inside a folder that may not show up when you choose other icons in your appearances dialog box. That being the case, it might help if you could take a screenshot of your caja .icon folder with the address showing at the top. That way, i could see if that is the problem. Or, just copy the address and paste it here.
To show the full address of a folder in caja, you need to select the toggle address button near the top and to the left of the address line of a caja window (also, to show hidden folders in any caja window, you need to press Ctrl/h)

Okay, just as a test, copy and paste the folder from your second picture (super flat remix) up one level to the .icons folder. That is to say, paste it next to the “super-flat-remix-master” folder. Then go back to your “appearance” dialog box and choose the “customise” button and the icons tab and see if they now appear in the available icons list. If it doesn’t work, delete the extra copy of the folder you copied and pasted and come back here and let me know
