Hi!
So usually I have my laptop hooked up to a monitor via HDMI on my desk.
I even managed to move the login screen to my external monitor by editing /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf.d
The issue is that the screensaver does not show on my second display if the laptop lid is closed. If I lock the computer with the lid closed, I only get a black screen instead. (I can still press any button and the “unlock” window appears no problem)
If I lock the computer with the lid open (laptop display disabled though) I get the screensaver on the second/external display.
So even though I have set closing the lid to “do nothing” in power manager this happens.
Anyone have an idea of a config file or somewhere to tweak so I can get the normal function of the screensaver on my external monitor even with the lid closed ?
