How do you show seconds on the clock? Why was that option removed?
@BTJustice You will want to look at my reply on this post. Method 2 is the easiest. It lets you control Day, Month, Date, and clock settings - including enabling the seconds.

Ubuntu MATE is using new clock application starting 19.10. You can customize it using dconf-editor. The old one is still available as a standalone panel applet with all its configuration options.
