No sound from bluetooth headphones

How can I get sound in my wireless blue tooth headphone ?

This is what I have so far. Turning up the volume for the headphones did not help.

This line added on 7:04 pm. CST. Now it is not pairing.

There are a couple potential solutions here...

Thanks GeekBone. I am checking those ideas out.

I can not find how to go to the next page on the site.

That's it. There was only one page for that discussion.

Thanks a lot.

It paired. It plays a .mp3 ok. but no sound from my headphones.

PrtScr or Shift Prtscr did not work?

I had to use my phone camera.

From Linux Mint Forum

Finally solved it, and I'll make another post under "br-connection-failed: timeout". I think that's the exact error I got; can't remember precisely because now it's solved. But I had to:

  • right click the device when after connecting it (before it disappeared or gave the error)
    *click audio profile
*change the setting (to the other one, whatever that was)
Then open sound make sure the correct output device was highlighted
Then open pulse audio volume control
    Go to Configuration
    Click profile
    Change to High Fidelity playback

About printscreen - I found that sometimes when you've got some programs open the print screen won't work but the workaround is to set a timer for printscreen as is explained in this great tips and tricks post:

That way you may press printscreen key and open up the program/options menu you wish to printscreen and it will do it if you set the time right - hope it helps

I need help with getting my wireless headphones to produce sounds like music.

Thanks.

I will look around at other Linux forums. Linux has a lot of commonalities.
