Hi All,
I have had an ongoing issue with Ubuntu MATE on this Asus X206H notebook/laptop.
it is a cheap, low end laptop - 32Gb SSD with 4Gb RAM. Hence why i deleted Windows10 and put Ubuntu MATE on it.
Everything else works really well - wifi, etc. BUT no Sound!
In Sound Preferences the hardware shows "Atom/Celeron /Pentium Processor x5-E8000/J3xxx/N3xxx Series PCI Configuration Registers" then it has below that DISABLED and below that OFF. but i cant find out to Enable it or turn it ON.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Smac
Hi,
Maybe this github script can help. It seems can fix sound issue in your notebook.
Try and read it carefully and make a backup before proceed. No idea if it works on 19.10:
