I have recently installed Ubuntu Mate 17.10 on my old Acer Iconia Tab W500-BZ467 and I can’t get the touchscreen to work. When installing Ubuntu Mate I didn’t select the install 3rd party drivers option. If you need any more information just let me know.
Well, I can’t believe I didn’t think to do this before, but I seem to have solved the problem by restarting the tablet. There is a bit of lag when moving the cursor and it definitely needs to be calibrated, but it’s working more than it was before.

Never mind, it worked until I restarted because I was trying to install an on-screen keyboard. Now I’m back to where I started. Does anybody have any ideas?
