Hello,
I get an error message when updating(usually Kernel) where all it says is"System program problem detected, do you want to report the problem now" with a choice of either Cancel or Report Problem. What log would give more details as to what is going on or could potentially be the problem? I don't see where any details are given.

Hi, I believe Apport sees something and places error in /var/crash directory.
Edit initially posted wrong path and directory
Various posts on this can be located by inserting
"program problem detected" in search box (mangifier near top)
Should give idea on how to clear and so forth.
Disclosure I have it disabled on my system due to personal preferences
