I upgraded my laptop to Cosmic without a hitch, but now it does not wake when I open the lid — I have to press the power button to wake it. Closing the lid does make it suspend. Anyone else seen anything like this?
I too am having that issue in 19.04 on a Lenovo T470, intel everything. I've found that switching to a new virtual terminal (Ctrl + Alt + F1) then back (Ctrl + Alt + F7) brings the screen back.
