As I am ignorant but learning, where can I find details of what needs to be installed to successfully install and run nut-client from synaptic package manager. [assume I know little of Linux]
Selecting nut-client to be installed in synaptic (package manager) will automatically install needed dependencies. You will be given a choice before installation whether or not to install and then after installation, run this software.
Good luck xaire.
Installed nut-client OK from Synaptic Package Manager. Running it in Terminal proves my ignorance. What command must I type to run the package? (exact, complete command ). The package has no GUI so I assume Terminal is the place to run it.
Perhaps this page will be of some assistance in running nut and nut-client -
