Hi there
First post so hopefully I can get an answer, as its driving me up the wall.
The device is an Odroid 64 C2-and the only image it can use (according to the makers) is Mate 16.04 http://odroid.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=en:odroid-c2
All goes ok till I attempt an apt-get upgrade-as there are about 300 odd packages needing updating. The upgrade goes fine, but as soon as I reboot, the device just sits there-no output from HDMI, no nothing. As if the SD card wasn’t actually there. During the update, I notice that the boot.ini is changed (a new one is created and the old one renamed boot.ini.old). Comparing the two, they look quite different-I’m not a linux expert but I guess this file being correct is pretty important! Putting back the .old file as the main boot file doesn’t work either.
Has anybody got any ideas on how I could progress this-maybe stop whatever package that creates this new boot file would be a start.
Any help welcome!
Thanks
cabs
