So I have many books in PDF format and really like the features that Okular has for highlighting and such. But when i installed it onto my system and try to highlight with it, it highlights three lines at a time instead of one. Any ideas on how to fix that?
Hallo
Which UM are you running? Fresh install or upgrade?
Which version of Okular are you running? Where did you install it from?
Have you tried resetting Okulars “settings” to the default settings?
Have you tried de-installing (including a purge) and re-installing?
I use Okular and wouldn’t be without it. It works fine for me on 15.10 installed via synaptic if I remember rightly.
We need some more information to try to localise the problem. Also, have you looked on KDE user forums for posts relating to this behaviour?
Have you also tested your mouse speeds, I have a problem with an over sensitive mouse and that helped me a bit!.
Kernel: 4.2.0-36-generic x86_64 (64 bit)
Desktop: MATE 1.10.2
Distro: Ubuntu 15.10 wily
It was a fresh install from the Ubuntu Software Center.
The Okular version is 0.23.2 (using KDE Development Platform 4.14.13)
I did try purging and re-installing - it didn’t help.
Something i noticed…In the PDF book where there is double spacing, like on the index page, it highlights fine. But in the single spaced substance of the book it highlights three lines at a time.
Good point. They have now been tested…no change
After using Okular more i figured out that it’s a problem with certain PDF books, not with Okular.
