One of standart icon is missing

Hi!
Looks like one of standart icon on my Ubuntu MATE 16.04 is missing:

mate-arrow.png761×772 336 KB

Already tried to reinstall 'ubuntu-mate-themes' but no effect.
Is there any way to fix it?

Hi!
Yeah, system is fully updated.
The only thing i did for today is removing ‘steam-launcher’ package using Synaptic and installing ‘steam’ package via apt-get.
Then i’ve changed all Steam icons under /usr/share/icons/hicolor to the modern version of it.
Probably something important was accidentaly removed by my hands and i can’t figure what is it.

Hello, that’s the drop-down icon you’re missing there. I’m not actually sure where this file is, or what it’s called. :thinking:

Let’s try re-installing all possible culprits:

sudo apt-get install --reinstall ubuntu-mate-icon-themes ubuntu-mate-themes ubuntu-mate-artwork hicolor-icon-theme humanity-icon-theme

Icons also inherit from Ambiance (Ubuntu’s theme), then the fallback (hicolor)

This is the file that is missing /usr/share/icons/mate/scalable/actions/pan-down-symbolic.svg

so you need to reinstall

sudo apt-get install --reinstall mate-icon-theme adwaita-icon-theme

to replace the dark and light icons.

Looks like folder /usr/share/icons/Adwaita was missing completely (just wonder whoever removes it :slight_smile:)
