Opening Caja via Tilda closes the Tilda Process

Good day everyone.

I’m sorry if I did not post this in the correct category (and I’m also sorry if this isn’t really a concern for UM).

I would like to verify something with the tilda users here running UM 17.10.
I currently have tilda to run on startup and whenever I try to open caja via tilda, it opens caja but the tilda process gets killed. Is anybody else experiencing this or is this a specific thing that only happens on my machine?

Thanks.

I’ve just tested that and it works fine on my machine. Though, I should say, I am currently using Ubuntu Studio 16.04 64 bit (that comes with the XFCE desktop) with Ubuntu Mate desktop installed over the top.

Scratch all that. I have just remembered I installed Guake instead of Tilda as I like Guake better.

I will install tilda and report back here.

I retried this again to double check stuff and so that I can correct any wrong statements from the previous post.

I started on a fresh boot with Tilda running on startup with the tilda -h command. After the UM loads up, I go to tilda and enter caja. Caja doesn't open and the tilda window automatically closes. I can't call the tilda window again using F12 however upon looking in the mate-system-monitor the tilda process isn't actually killed but sleeping.

Again, I am running UM 17.10.
