Openshot installation from Software Boutique broken in 17.04 beta

Probably just an issue with the dependencies in the package.

This is openshot-qt from the PPA.

Screenshot:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
openshot-qt : Depends: python3-openshot but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

How deep down the rabbit hole can we go?

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
python3-openshot : Depends: libopenshot10 but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libopenshot10 : Depends: libmagick++-6.q16-6v6 (>= 8:6.9.2.3) but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Package libmagick++-6.q16-6v6 is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'libmagick++-6.q16-6v6' has no installation candidate

Yeah... Well, that's a beta for you.

Hello PizzaDude

PPAs are normally the last thing to work and usually not updated till the final release is out. Give it a month

I went to the launchpad ppa and loaded it direct from there. Its the python3-openshot package holding it up. You can report it, but I still think its just not ready for use.

It’s fixed now.

Cool

Yeah, thanks for posting this. I went and tested it just as the new OpenShot was released and this issue was resolved
