Openshot installation from Software Boutique broken in 17.04 beta

Probably just an issue with the dependencies in the package.

This is openshot-qt from the PPA.

openshot-qt : Depends: python3-openshot but it is not going to be installed

How deep down the rabbit hole can we go?

Package libmagick++-6.q16-6v6 is not available, but is referred to by another package.

Yeah... Well, that's a beta for you.

PPAs are normally the last thing to work and usually not updated till the final release is out. Give it a month :slight_smile:

I went to the launchpad ppa and loaded it direct from there. Its the python3-openshot package holding it up. You can report it, but I still think its just not ready for use.

Yeah, thanks for posting this. I went and tested it just as the new OpenShot was released and this issue was resolved :slight_smile:
