Opera - Native Window Manager

Hello there,
I have switched to using the Opera browser because I have grown tired of FF's performance, but needed a chromium based browser that would support most-recently-used (MRU) tabs.

Unfortunately, it appears to be using its own window manager, rather than the native one with mate. This means that I cannot right-click the title bar and click "Move to workspace" like I do with all my other windows. It also means that it "sticks out" quite a bit as shown below with the difference between the terminal and the opera window:

Does anyone know how to get it to switch to using the native window management in Ubuntu Mate (18.04)?

Hi

not sure why you claim you are running 2 window managers at once
Yes I can see you can not do a RH click

No I can not verify your "sticks out" issue.....for me, it maximizes and looks OK

Possible solution for you for no RH click and move title bar is as follows

assuming you have workspace switcher showing in panel
assuming you are a RH mouse user
-> LH click the icon for opera in the switcher workspace
-> drag it to your intended workspace

good luck
