Has anyone else messed around with making MATE’s dock show only one icon per application with the ability to then further narrow by clicking on the icon representing that collection, instead of one icon per process? IIRC, XFCE did this in their dock, and it was hella handy.
This turned out to be a dumb question. The Netbook, Cupertino, Mutiny, and Pantheon panel styles do this just fine, so I’ll use one of em
