I recently installed unbutu mate and I have a problem with my pi 400 keyboard configuration, I don’t find any solution.
I have previously installed the raspberry OS and I never had any problem with my keyboard, but this distribution doesn’t satisfying me so I had install ubuntu mate. It’s really cool but my keyboard mapping is strange : Letter j is 1 / k is 2 / L is 3 / ? Is 0 /u is 4 /i is 5 …
I Try many things and not solve the pb. Finaly, I look the configuration on my old OS who is work fine: generic 105-key (Intl.) / French french legacy, alt.) but unfortunately no more luck.

Check that NumLock is not on.
Is Number Lock on? It can sometimes turn on by accident, or when you boot up the machine. Just hit it until you see the first red light turns back on, then off again.

change the layout to engish (US), and change keyboard model to apple aluminum
