Hello everyone. My laptop has 20.04.1LTS installed. Since the last update I cannot print from my Brother MFC-J995DW printer USB it will print. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you
Have you tried installing the correct drivers from Brother?
I have a Brother printer (MFC-J480DW) and Ubuntu Mate 20.04 found mine on wifi and but I still installed my software\drivers to be able to use all the features of the printer. It might help with your problem.
I am also not familiar with your model, but on mine I had to go into setting/network/ and enable wifi on the Printer itself.
Thanks so much. Sorry it took so long to try it. Reinstalling the driver worked. Thank goodness on Brothers web site they give good instructions. I'm terrible with the command line.

Me too, I am GUI guy and casual user, but I have found there instructions easy to follow too.
